Polk County Code Enforcement – BS Ranch & Farm has to appear In front of a judge on 10/17 for multiple odor issues. Hearing 8:30 am commissioners chamber, Bartow.
Also the Department of Health in Polk County is investigation odor issues- statement for Health Dept, “The Florida Department of Health in Polk County, Environmental Health Division receives complaints termed, sanitary nuisances, which include, but are not limited to, reports of mosquitoes in abandoned swimming pools, allegations of unsatisfactory drinking water, reports of failing septic systems, unsanitary facilities, improperly built or failing potable water wells or water distribution systems, sewage being discharged onto the ground or to surface water bodies, unlicensed or unpermitted activities, etc. Complaints that do not fall within the jurisdiction and authority of the Florida Department of Health (FDOH) are referred to the appropriate agency, and the complainant notified of the referral. Complaints are screened for science–based public health practice and regulatory impacts. Sanitary nuisance Investigations consist of research, inquiries, observations, and site inspections. Resolution of complaints initially seek voluntary compliance and when necessary take enforcement actions to obtain compliance.
