The Fire men’s golf team had a solid showing, which included the team low round of the weekend finishing third at the Bojangles Tennessee Intercollegiate.
In the second round, the Fire shot an even par 288 as a group, which was the lowest team score for a single round on the course.
Southeastern finished with a 54-hole total score of 898, missing second place to Reinhardt by three strokes, and first place to Dalton State by 12.
The Fire recorded rounds of 305 in the first and third.
Freshmen Pablo Restrepo and Matthew Soucinek led the way for SEU, with Restrepo tying for sixth with a total of 221. Restrepo opened the tournament with a two-under 70, then closed with a 74 and a 77. Soucinek bounced back from a 79 in the first round with a 70 in the second, and a 74 in the third to finish tied for eighth.
Noah Endicott tied for 11th with a total of 226 (76-72-77), and Jacob Soucinek was four shots back in a tie for 16th (81-72-77).
Landry Miller rounded out the roster in a tie for 19th at 231 (80-74-77).
The Fire will conclude the fall portion of the schedule on October 28th and 29th at the Adamonis Invitational at Doral.
