Tips for Spotting Utility Scams:
DO NOT communicate or interact with suspicious phone calls, emails, or text messages. Scammers can manipulate your caller ID. To ensure you’re truly speaking with Lakeland Electric hang up and call the phone number on your bill.
Our agents will NEVER ask for payment via:
Prepaid debit cards (Green Dot cards) or Cash App.
