Polk County Supervisor of Elections, Lori Edwards announced today that the cities of Haines City and Lakeland will be conducting Run-Off Elections on May 4th following the results of the April 6th Municipal Elections.
“Haines City voters will decide the outcome of the City Commission Seat 5 race between Anne Huffman and Kenneth Kipp. Lakeland voters will choose between Mike Musick and Shandale Terrell to decide the winner for City Commissioner, District D – Southeast,” said Ms. Edwards.
Registered voters who have moved or had a name change are encouraged to update their record with the Elections Office before the May 4th Run-Off Elections. It’s also important to notify the Elections Office if your signature has changed.
