The idea for Pressed began a few years ago, but like many dreams, the thought was “not now but maybe one day.” After spending the last decade in education (and loving it!) I started to feel a pull in a different direction. We revisited this idea of opening a bookstore/coffee shop and one by one thing have begun to fall into place.
The vision for Pressed is to represent the Lakeland community through our hand-curated selection of book titles and our local sourcing of coffee and baked goods. We also have many community events in mind… more details on that coming soon.
BUT for now…we are busy working on the new space. Which reminds me, any guesses from the pic as to where we are located?!!
