Work on the new CAT III ILS construction has taken off!
As you can see TWY P west of TWY P2 has been demolished to make way for the Glide Slope and RVR move. This is required to meet the new more stringent CAT III critical area tolerances.
Other changes completed so far include the demolition of the MALSR approach lighting system making way for the new ALSF-2 approach lighting system and foundations for the ALSF-2 support shelter.
