National Powersport Auctions (NPA), the nation’s leader in powersport remarketing, held a groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday, celebrating the start of construction on its future home in Lakeland, Florida.
The 45-acre property will be the permanent location to a state-of-the-art 140,000 sq. ft. auction facility that will service powersport, RV and marine dealers all throughout the state.
Since opening its current facility in Plant City last fall, NPA has seen an overwhelmingly positive response from the Florida dealer network. “We purchased this land about a year ago and opened another facility in the meantime while we build this one out.
We’re quickly outgrowing that other location though, so we are eager to get started on construction,” said CEO Jim Woodruff. “If you look around, you see a big piece of empty land, but what I see is a 140,000 sq. ft. facility that will be NPA’s home in Florida for years to come. NPA sells 70,000 – 80,000 vehicles a year and with this new location, it will be even more. We appreciate the support of our customers, clients, staff, and the local community.”
In attendance at the event was the Mayor of Lakeland, Bill Mutz, plus additional
representatives from the city and the Lakeland Economic Development Council
(LEDC). “We are so excited to have NPA create their next 140,000 sq. ft. facility
here in Lakeland. They’re going to thrive in this part of Florida, and we’re excited to
watch them grow,” said Mayor Mutz.
The symbolic groundbreaking ceremony comprised of Mayor Mutz, and NPA
executives including CEO Jim Woodruff, Founder Cliff Clifford, VP of Operations
