The Lakeland Chamber of Commerce Foundation recognizes the need for its members to identify high-
potential future leaders and provide professional development training designed to cultivate a pool of
qualified leaders who are prepared to fill mid-level management roles.
This project outline details how Emily Rogers Consulting + Coaching will provide a 3-month, 7-part
leadership development training series for a group of up to 25 emerging leaders who have been identified
as high potentials by Lakeland Chamber of Commerce members.
Expected outcomes include increased awareness about leadership best practices and improved leadership
performance through actionable training. The training series will be facilitated in person by Emily Rogers.
Training topics will include:
- Introduction to High-performance Leadership
– Understanding Your Leadership Style
– Developing Highly Functioning Teams - Managing & Resolving Conflict Through Improved Communication
– Creating Intelligent Change
– Managing Workplace Stress - Developing a Coaching Habit
The Chamber will provide the training location and any audio-visual requirements for each workshop.
Materials for each workshop will be made available to participants through Emily Rogers Consulting +
Coaching’s Learning Management System (LMS) and requires participants to download/print documents
prior to each workshop. Participants will have access to the LMS until December 31, 2021.
