Countdown to Monday and the new Route 21X
Citrus Connection is anxiously awaiting the Aug. 2 launch of Route 21X connecting Lakeland, Mulberry, Bartow, and Lake Wales.
Passengers can connect to these southern Polk communities along a route that operates on and near the State Road 60 corridor. The service will begin at 6 a.m. and operates until 6:48 p.m.
Route 21X becomes the second Citrus Connection route to provide an East-West connection with the first being the Purple Line/Route 12 that connects Lakeland to Winter Haven along the US 92 corridor.
