PCPS has updated our COVID-19 case data at polkschoolsfl.com/covidcases.
Please note that the case numbers displayed in the new report are cumulative from Aug. 2. The document contains new cases, as well as cases that were pending and not processed in the first report, published Tuesday (Aug. 17).
PCPS has gathered these numbers in partnership with the Florida Department of Health in Polk County. The information is preliminary, as case data is still being processed from schools throughout the county.
We will continue to make this information available as quickly as possible. Please understand that some cases and schools might not yet appear on the report, because cases are still being processed.
PCPS still intends to establish a public, online dashboard to make this data more accessible. As always, thank you for your patience and support.
