Two Watson Clinic providers have recently expanded their appointment availability in an effort to provide a higher level of convenience and accessibility to their patients.
Laura Pellegrini, APRN, a registered nurse practitioner who works alongside Watson Clinic board-certified Gynecologist and Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgeon Tarek Garas, MD, now offers expanded availability for gynecology appointments on select Saturdays from 9 am – 1 pm. This provides an ideal alternative for patients who are unable to attend appointments during the week due to their busy schedules. Ms. Pellegrini treats patients from her office at the Watson Clinic Bella Vista Building at 1755 N. Florida Ave. in Lakeland.
Ms. Pellegrini received her Associate of Science in Nursing degree from Polk State College in Winter Haven, FL, and her Bachelor of Science and Master in Nursing degrees from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Polk County Advanced Practice Nurses Association. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her areas of expertise include annual exams, contraceptive management, adolescent gynecologic care, and treatments for menopause and irregular periods.

Michnitza Brutus, APRN, a registered nurse practitioner who works alongside board-certified Pain Management specialist Osman A. Latif, MD, now offers appointment availability every Friday from Watson Clinic Highlands at 2300 E. County Rd. 540A in Lakeland. Ms. Brutus will continue to serve patients from Dr. Latif’s Watson Clinic Main office at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland every Monday – Thursday.
Ms. Brutus received her Associate of Science in Nursing degree from Miami Dade College in Miami, FL, a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Barry University in Miami, FL, and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from South University in Tampa, FL. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is fluent in Creole and French.
Watson Clinic’s Pain Management department specializes in easing patient suffering and improving quality of life in the midst of injury, illness, infection, or other conditions that lead to chronic or acute pain.
