On Sunday, November 7, 2021, shortly after 1:10 am, uniform patrol officers responded to the 100 block of Kentucky Avenue in reference to a shooting. On scene, officers located a black male victim Kkeemy Longway with multiple gunshot wounds.

Both Longway and Gornail were striking each other multiple times. Gornail was then observed walking away from the Longway and entering a nearby vehicle to retrieve a firearm.
She then approached the Longway again, at which time she shot him multiple times. Gornail then left the scene in a vehicle driven by a friend.
Based on the evidence gathered at the scene, witness interviews, and consultation with the State Attorney’s Office, Sharainnia Gornail was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder.

On this thread I’m noticing a lot of the families and friends of the deceased has been commenting upset over this post and Black Lives Matter Restoration Polk Inc. Involvement in this situation.
I am the Vice President of this organization and I want to let all of you know that we only get involved when we are asked to get involved.
It seems like the situation has affected MANY people On BOTH sides.
Unfortunately a life was lost and a woman is currently facing murder charges and both families are grieving.
We do not endorse murder but we do endorse transparency!
Right now there are people from both sides telling two different stories and we want to make sure that the truth is revealed!
All we can do is go by the facts that we know.
The fact is, Sharainnia has two busted lips and lacerations all over her face which means evidence is there to support that she was struck multiple times in the face area! We also know that she fired a weapon multiple times that killed the person she was in a violent altercation with!
So many people are saying so many different things and posting so many different things but they don’t have any proof to support their claims.
We are praying for both sides and we will assist with obtaining the truth that actually happened.
