Did you know that a Calhoun County teacher’s assistant was recently arrested and charged with inappropriate behavior with students?
According to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s office, 45-year-old Tessa Marie Garnnet exchanged nude photos with at least one student at Blountstown High School on social media.
Others have reportedly received inappropriate photos through Snapchat social media app.
School administrators at Blountstown High School contacted Sheriff Kimbrel on October 5th when they first heard rumors of inappropriate conduct by Garnnet. Once county prosecutors received evidence they needed to proceed with charges, an arrest warrant was issued for Garnnet.
According to the arrest affidavit, Garnett had improper contact with at least four students who attend Blountstown High School.
Also according to school officials, Garnett was reportedly suspended from her teaching assistant position.
