Being a member at Victory Church has turned into opening Pandoras Box.
From BLM to the drama at the school, to closing the church, to wearing masks, to pushing the government vaccine, to asking for money at Halloween for admission, to this….
We received this letter to give money to the pastor this Sunday. One thing caught our attention…..
Dear Family CASUAL,
Family Casual???? Yes, you read the category of the batch of letters that were mailed out. We are now CASUAL ATTENDEES according to Victory. We have not signed the attendance register and we do not give checks, therefore, they have no record of our family attending.
The word CASUAL was not deleted when it should have been!
Now, tell me this….how personal is Victory? Do they really say that they are personal and giving?
I say it is hypocritical and Pastor Blackburn is not hurting financially. A Christmas gift is fine, but these letters for 33 years need to stop!
Giving is from the heart and these letters are misleading. The pastoral staff are doing great financially. It is those in the congregation that need financial help.
Why can’t money go to the attendees? Aren’t we supposed to give to those in NEED?
The Blackburn family have a 6 figure SUV and Mercedes-Benz SUV, and live in a beautiful updated home in a nice neighborhood.
I did hear that he gives some of the money away, but to who? No one in the congregation gets a check from the church.
Christmas is about CELEBRATING THE BIRTH OF JESUS and not asking for more money to give to the pastor.
Did the wise men show up 3 years after the birth of Jesus with a check?
We serve God and not mammon! Why is Victory always asking for money?
