One of the best gifts we could have received this year was the commissioning of our new CAT III Instrument Landing System (ILS) which occurred on Monday, December 20th! We would like to thank the Federal Aviation Administration and the Florida Department of Transportation without whom this project could not have been completed.
We would also like to thank our Airport team who never backed down from the challenge and worked with our contractors and consultants to commission the system in just 239 days. LAL is now one of only 68 airports in the Nation with this advanced system!
