A new marble plaque honors Nathan’s Men’s Store on the building at the corner of Main Street and Kentucky Avenue that housed the shop since 1961.
Nathan’s closed last year, 78 years after being founded by Nathan and Mildred Estroff. The building is now home to Wauchula State Bank, a banquet room for neighboring Nineteen61 restaurant, and the Kimley-Horn engineering firm.
