Franchise owner Nate Devine, told us that North Lakeland Culver’s is on track for an end of February opening.
The new Culver’s at 5246 US 98 N, between Sam’s Club and Walmart, is nearly completely constructed. Devine said the inside portion of the restaurant is completed and that all that remains to be done is some landscaping and utility connections with the city.
The new Culver’s is officially listed as coming soon on the fast-food chain’s website. Culver’s, a popular eatery out of Wisconsin, is best known for its frozen custard, Butter Burgers and cheese curds.
Devine, who oversees two additional Culver’s restaurants, said he’s looking to hire 60 to 70 employees to run his new store. Hiring begins Monday and interested, potential employees can apply on the Culver’s website, culvers.com, on the Careers page.
The South Lakeland Culver’s is moving along a little bit behind its north 98 store.
