Incident Description
On February 1, 2022 at 12:30 PM the City received a call about a manhole overflow in a field behind 944 Wedgewood Lane. City crews responded and cleared the blockage at 1:10 PM. Approximately 300 gallons was released due to rags in main line, and 100 gallons was recovered. The area was washed down, and lime was applied. The wastewater entered a drainage ditch near the event which flows to a private pit. The discharge from this pit eventually goes into Waterview Lake. Sampling has been started to determine any impacts.
