Starting Monday, April 4, roadway and drainage construction along the new Lake Juliana Shopping Center frontage will close William Van Fleet Road (County Road 559A) in Auburndale through mid-July 2022. Traffic will be detoured to C. Fred Jones Boulevard (State Road 559A) to bypass the closure.
Related work will also require about two weeks of intermittent lane closures on County Road 559 from William Van Fleet Road to Lundy Road. Commuters can expect minor travel delays, particularly during peak-hour traffic. Motorists should drive carefully, be alert to detour signs, and add extra time to their trips in this area.
