This adorable litter of five 8-week-old kittens was dumped at the Lake Bonny Park in Lakeland in the woods recently. Thankfully, they were discovered by someone jogging 
along one of the paths. There is no doubt that they were dumped as they are so friendly and in good physical condition. The babes were extremely hungry and thirsty drinking two bowls of water immediately and gobbled down their canned food.
We just cannot understand how people can throw kittens out into the woods as if they’re garbage. Spay and neuter your cat people!! They would have died of dehydration with no water source or killed by a gator or other wildlife. We’re thankful they are now safe. 
There are three black and white tuxedos and two black and grey kittens. The group has been named Billie, Bailey, Bandit, Bree, and Baxter since they were found at Lake Bonny Park. We took them to Planned Pethood today for their first set of vaccines. The vet gave them a thumbs up on their exams and said they look very healthy considering the situation. We will be getting them scheduled for surgery and they’ll be available for adoption in a month. Let us know if you’d be interested in adopting one or two.
