CCDF-USA-POLK has been fighting for over eight months to remove school library books that contained inappropriate and statute-violating content for minors. We are excited to report that Superintendent Frederick Heid, along with support from the school district, has made the decision to remove the 16 books from school shelves and place them behind circulation desks, adopting an Opt-In/Opt-Out policy!
