At the 2022 USPCA National Trials, the team was proud to recognize Officer Back for his 20 years of dedicated service to the LakelandPD K-9 Unit. Beginning with the unit in 2002, Officer Back has partnered with three police canines during his tenure; K-9 Neo, K-9 Remy, and his current partner K-9 Smoke.
