Polk County Sheriff still running calls
If a true medical emergency is called in fire and ems will follow Sherriff to the scene.
The sheriff has been having some issues with some areas with high water.
According to Robin Tillett PIO Lakeland Police stated, “LakelandPD has not stopped responding to emergency priority calls. Our officers are out responding to calls at this very moment.”
As of now, Lakeland Fire is not running calls until the wind drops under 45 mph.
