Storm Debris Collection Update 
DRC our FEMA debris contractor estimates there are 150,000 to 200,000 cubic yards of Hurricane Ian debris to be collected in the Lakeland City Limits.
As of October 18th, 31,700 cubic yards of debris have been collected and delivered to our Debris Management Site at Glendale the Waste Water Facility for processing and grinding.
Current FEMA Truck / Equipment Count in the city: 10 Grapple Trucks & 4 Dump Trailers, 2 Bobcats, 2 large front-end loaders & 4 Bucket Trucks. There are 5 City claw trucks also assisting.
The debris contractors estimate the first pass of all City streets will be completed by November 14th.
There are many communities including some state agencies that could not get any FEMA debris contractors because of the greater need and concentrated debris management effort in Southwest Florida.
