Private investigator, George Cooke, doesn’t take money for his contracts. His payment is a distraction from his depression. When a mysterious note falls in his lap, he welcomes the elusive investigation that leads him to the dangerous repose catacombs. He is then faced with two deadly options… Join or be executed… And if he chooses to join, George must navigate lying to his best friend and highly intelligent parrot in order to maintain secrecy.

Lord P.S. Meehan graduated from West Orange High School in 2014, and he became an Eagle Scout during his time with Boy Scout Troop 225. He began work on this novel in the latter half of 2015. Born and raised in Orlando, and residing in Ocoee, he expressed a significant lack of entertainment that featured locations in Central Florida. “MADNESS AND DECEIT” was his response to counter the countless forms of media that feature locations such as New York or LA. As he journeys through nursing school, he hopes other artists will be inspired to concoct their own stories that feature Central Florida.
