For the third time ever in his 47-year head coaching career and for the final time, Bill Castle takes in another award.
The newly retired head coach was awarded the Florida Dairy Farmers Coach of the Year award after leading Lakeland to an undefeated 14-0 season and winning the Class 4S state championship. Castle led the Dreadnaughts to a 21-14 victory over Venice last month at DRV PNK Stadium to win the program’s eighth state championship.
