If you are anything like me, you are unsure if Florida is going to participate in winter this year. The groundhog predicted more winter but I, for one, am not putting my flip-flops away just yet! With that in mind I thought this week’s cocktail recipe would be as indecisive as Florida’s weather. This limey, tart and bubbly margarita is just what the doctor ordered to cure those crazy weather blues. Enjoy!
Ingredients
2 tbsp salt
4 oz lime juice
3 oz tequila
2 oz triple sec
3 oz sparkling wine
Directions
- Sprinkle salt onto a small plate. On a 2nd plate splash on a bit of water. Dip the rim of your glasses in the water then the salt.
- Grab that cocktail shaker with a scoop of ice. Combine lime juice, tequila and triple sec to the shaker and give that thang a good ole shake. Pro-Tip: I recommend you use a shaker with a lid for this. *sarcastic wink*
- Add ice to your glasses and strain evenly. Top off with your sparkling wine. Garnish with a lime wedge if you like. Enjoy!
