I’m excited to share that Chick-fil-A Bartow opens for business Thursday, Feb. 9th! Justin Kranitz, the local franchise owner, is looking forward to continuing to serve the community. The restaurant is hiring 150 full- and part-time employees.
Justin has been a part of the Polk County community for over two decades, serving with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Haines City Police Department prior to becoming an Operator. He is excited to serve the Bartow area as his restaurant joins over 50 others in the greater Tampa-St. Petersburg area.
In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100® Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A Bartow will be surprising 100 local heroes making an impact in Bartow with free Chick-fil-A for a year. Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the Bartow area to aid in the fight against hunger.
A new Chick-fil-A® restaurant will begin serving the Bartow community on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Justin Kranitz as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Bartow.
Located at 475 E Van Fleet Drive, Chick-fil-A Bartow will be open for dine-in and drive-thru from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Guests of Chick-fil-A Bartow can place an order for pickup, dine-in or delivery on the Chick-fil-A® App or online. When joining the Chick-fil-A One® tiered membership program, guests receive points on every qualifying purchase, which can be used to redeem available rewards. The Bartow restaurant joins over 50 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the wider Tampa-St. Petersburg market.

In Bartow, Kranitz will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 150 full- and part-time Team Members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.
Kranitz has lived in the Bartow area for nearly 25 years, serving in various roles with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Haines City Police Department before becoming the Operator of Chick-fil-A I-4 & Hwy 27 in Davenport in 2017. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida and a Miami native. When he isn’t at the restaurant, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Susan, and their four children.
“I’m so excited to have been selected as the Operator for Chick-fil-A Bartow and have the opportunity to bring delicious food and hospitality to the community,” Kranitz said. “I’m eager to show care to Team Members and guests with the goal of positively impacting their lives.”
