Ed Shoemaker of Lakeland has been re-elected as Chair of the Republican Party of Florida Congressional District 15 Caucus.
Shoemaker was also elected as Secretary of the Republican Party of Florida State Committeemen/State Committeewomen at the recent annual meeting of the Republican Party of Florida in Orlando.
The RPOF Congressional District 15 Caucus includes the Polk County Republican Executive Committee Chair and the State Committeemen and State Committeewomen of Polk, Pasco and Hillsborough counties. The State Committeemen/State Committeewomen Caucus is composed of representatives from each of the state’s 67 counties.
Shoemaker, a licensed mental health counselor, is also a member of the Republican Party of Florida Executive Board. He was first elected in 2016 as Republican Party of Florida State Committeeman for Polk County and re-elected in 2020.
