On 7/27/23 at 1:46 p.m., Lakeland Police officers were called for a welfare check at a residence in the 1600 block of Hollingsworth Creek. Officers found the 55-year-old male alone and in a state of decomposition.
Preliminarily, there were no indications of foul play, however, there was no apparent cause of death, therefore, the body was sent to the Medical Examiners Officer for autopsy. This remains an open investigation pending additional forensic tests.
