The Watson Clinic Foundation will host the Healthy in Pink Social on Oct. 19, a free event devoted to breast cancer education and community empowerment.
The event will feature a presentation from Anita Cochran, the country music singer and songwriter whose breast cancer journey inspired her to write the hit single “Fight Like a Girl.” Attendees will also enjoy an interactive Q&A with Dr. Elisabeth L. Dupont, a board-certified breast surgeon at the Watson Clinic Women’s Center and medical director of Breast Health Services, alongside a panel of additional Watson Clinic cancer specialists.
The event takes place Oct. 19 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Lone Palm Golf Club, 800 Lone Palm Drive, in Lakeland. A light buffet dinner and valet parking will be offered. RSVP by calling 863-904-6422 or visiting WatsonClinic.com/PINK
