Swans are penned while they wait for their turn during the 43rd annual Swan Roundup checkup day on Lake Morton in Lakeland FL. Wednesday, October 11, 2023. The annual event checks the well-being of the 50 swans penned up yesterday.
During the annual event checks two swans needed further medical help. One had an eye issue which will be given drugs to clear up the issue. The other swan has a growth on one leg and it will be laser off tomorrow at My Pet’s Animal Hospital.
