Chamberlin’s Natural Foods has closed its location in the Grove Park shopping center in Lakeland.
The store has been open at 1521 Bartow Road for more than 25 years. Chamberlin’s opened a larger store in the Shoppes at Lakeland at 4001 U.S. 98 North about five years ago. A sign at the closed store directed shoppers to the North Lakeland location.
The Grove Park store sold organic produce, frozen and packaged foods, vitamins, herbal supplements, and household items and also offered freshly made smoothies.
Chamberlin’s, founded in 1935, operates five other stores in Central Florida, according to its website.
