Luke 2:11-14 “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.”
The Christmas season always makes me take notice of what a special occasion it represents. Mankind has received the greatest gift of all time, Christ Jesus.
He was born of a virgin (Matthew 21: 33), lived a perfect, sinless life (1 Peter 2: 22), and died for the remission of the sin of all mankind (Matthew 27: 35).
Finally, America has realized if it were not for our Glorious Savior, there would be no holiday to be happy about. I have heard “happy holidays” said only one time and I asked the man, what’s the holiday? He smiled and said, “It’s Jesus’ birthday.”
In a government office recently, after a very inspiring conversation with the clerk, she said as I left, “Merry Christmas.” Praise Jesus, Christmas is back in its splendor and glory.
In driving around our community, we’ve seen more nativity scenes this year than ever. I am so encouraged by what I’m seeing and happy beyond words.
For the world to understand who Jesus was and is, possibly is a reversal of the attitudes some have promoted in the effort to destroy the “Light of the world,” (John 1: 9).
Also, a really big “Thank You” to the publishers and editors that are publishing the articles I have written. The purpose is to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ and encourage Bible study. Only by returning to the fundamental teachings of our Creator does our world have a chance to avoid total chaos and anarchy.
And of course, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy and peaceful new year.
