Lakeland’s City Commission will formally appoint a 15-member committee on Tuesday to review the city’s charter.
The panel is expected to recommend any revisions or amendments to the City Commission in June or July of 2025.
By law, the city must appoint a committee to review its charter every eight years. The 15 people nominated to serve on the 2024-2025 Charter Review Committee are:
