The Polk County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide unit is investigating a crash on County Road 640, east of US 27, south of Lake Wales.
Deputies say the crash occurred at about 11:12 am, and it was reported that two vehicles were involved.
One person has been confirmed deceased, and four others were injured.
