One person is dead involving six vehicles after a Plant City police pursuit ended in a fatal crash on Harden Boulevard in Lakeland.
The Lakeland Police Department was actively investigating a fatal crash on Harden Boulevard near the Polk Parkway, as of 12:30 p.m. Thursday, an LPD spokesperson confirmed.
Plant City police were pursuing a suspect, who was only described as being wanted for “violent felonies.”
The crash involved multiple vehicles and one confirmed death, according to the police department. The crash is related to a police pursuit by the Plant City Police Department. No further information about who the police were pursuing or why the pursuit started was immediately available.
