That’s what you’re dealing with in this county someone who has to be in so much control that he’s willing to keep 45 cats on that adoption floor each one could have left today. Each one. But instead, the community has been locked out.”
PCSO refused to comment.
We called animal services, to see what in the hell was going on and said there were people outside the gates wanting to adopt and that the building is paid by the taxpayers and the response was they were told to close today but would be honoring the free adoptions Monday.
This is Jamie Russo. She’s at our rally today she is sitting in another protester’s car right now because they had to pick her up from the ground she passed out from the heat.
And right over the fence is the heat box of Polk County Animal Control with no air conditioning with animals and metal boxes. One of our own community members almost had to go to the hospital to try to protect the ones who had no voice.
