Something that bothers me is that I saw several cats in cages without food, water, or even a litter box.
Another thing that bothers me, is that you can hear dogs barking in the background while videoing the kitties. It is well-documented that cats should not be subjected to the barking of dogs.
The first iteration of the ASV Guidelines for Standards of Care in Animal Shelters, in the section entitled “Sound Control,” it states, “Shelters should be designed so that cats are not exposed to the noise of barking dogs”
It makes me sad to see so many cats, but other than a crowded shelter.
