1. Chances are high this becomes Ernesto next week. Getting organized pretty quickly.
2. Folks in the Caribbean islands need to keep a close eye on this one. Vacation plans to these islands next week are dicey as well.
3. Models still forecast a sizeable East Coast trough next week to help keep what should be Ernesto East of Florida. If the trough “misses” the storm, it would track more West.
4. The timing for any potential US impact would be the end of next week.
5. Not much should change through the weekend. Just check in for my ” tropical thoughts” from time to time in case Mother Nature decides to throw us a curve ball. She’s been known to do so now and then.
6. After last week, totally understandable there’s a bit higher stress level. At least at this point, there’s solid model consensus. Let’s hope it stays that way. (I think it will) Remember, it’s a marathon. Waves are stacking up behind this one.
