On August 13, 2024, at 1:23 p.m. LakelandPD officers responded to a report of a stolen motorcycle from a residence. The victim’s 2013 black Harley Davidson was heard starting up inside the shed where it was kept. When the victim checked the shed his motorcycle was missing and a different motorcycle (a blue Harley Davidson) was left in its place.
The stolen motorcycle was seen ten minutes later fleeing the area and traveling north on US Highway 98 North with a shirtless Hispanic male wearing red camouflage pants driving it. At 2:09 p.m. the same male was seen driving the motorcycle. Patrol officers and detectives were able to stop the suspect while stopped in traffic and 30-year-old Noel Lash was arrested.
It was also discovered Lash was concealing a baggie of methamphetamine in his waistband. Lash was charged with numerous felonies including Grand Theft – Motor Vehicle, Unarmed Burglary, and Possession of Methamphetamine.
