On September 18th, Polk County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Ashley Dease of Bartow on an outstanding warrant.
Deputies arrived at Dease’s residence to serve the warrant. Dease attempted to flee into her residence despite the deputies’ commands to stop.
After requesting additional PCSO units, deputies entered the home and found Dease hiding in an air vent.
She was taken into custody and transported to the Polk County Jail. Dease was also charged with resisting without violence.
