Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Wilton Simpson issued an emergency order for Santa on Tuesday, Christmas Eve.
Every year Commissioner Simpson works alongside Santa Claus to oversee a festive and successful holiday for boys and girls across Florida.
“Santa and I have had many conversations about how special Florida is during the holidays,” Commissioner Simpson said.
The emergency order allows Mr. Claus to bypass agricultural inspection stations and waves the weight and size restrictions for loads on “magical flying sleighs.”
