What is the theme for Girl Scout Cookies 2025?
The 2025 theme for the Girl Scout Cookie season is “Embrace Possibility.”

What are the Girl Scout Cookie flavors?

Are Samoas and Caramel deLites the same?
Samoas and Caramel deLites are essentially the same cookie, but have slightly different ingredients, which is why they have different names. This is because Girl Scout Cookies have two main bakers instead of just one.
“Each Girl Scout council contracts with one of two licensed bakers, whose recipes and ingredients may differ slightly: ABC Bakers and Little Brownie Bakers,” The Girl Scouts website says.
“That’s why some of our cookies look the same but have two different names. Whether the package says Peanut Butter Patties or Tagalongs, or Samoas or Caramel deLites, the cookies are similarly delicious.”

How much are Girl Scout Cookies?
Girl Scout Cookies cost between $5 and $7, depending on where you’re located and what flavor of cookies you buy. For example, a box of S’Mores or toffee-flavored cookies will likely cost $7 instead of $6.
The increased price is due to inflation’s impact on the cost of ingredients, financing activities for the troops and other factors in the cookie-making process. Nearly a decade ago, the cookies sold for roughly $4 a box.
In a statement to CBS in 2023, a spokesperson confirmed the price hikes for last year’s season.
“Each of our 111 Girl Scout councils sets local Girl Scout Cookie prices based on several factors,” the spokesperson told reporters.
“In some instances, councils are faced with the tough decision to raise the prices, though prices have remained steady in many areas for a number of years. When you purchase Girl Scout Cookies you are getting more than a sweet treat, all the proceeds stay local to help power amazing experiences for Girl Scouts in your community.”
