Several members of the Lakeland Fire Department participated in the 2025 Lakeland Linder International Airport Full-Scale Exercise earlier this week. This training tested multiple core capabilities, from fire response and emergency medical services to public information and warnings.
In addition, agency representatives came together after the main exercise for the Lakeland Linder International Airport & Avelo Airlines Reunification Tabletop Exercise to discuss, collaborate, and prepare for potential real-life scenarios.
