35-year-old Katelyn Harrison of Lakeland was arrested and charged with knowingly selling or offering to sell counterfeit goods greater than $20,000 (FSS 831.032(3)(a)2). Harrison operated a business selling counterfeit merchandise through a boutique identified as “Mrs. K’s Boujee & Inspired Boutique” and/or “Boujee K.” Harrison used a black enclosed trailer that she would use to attend events and sell counterfeit merchandise—she also operated a private Facebook page (Boujee K) to facilitate the sale of counterfeit goods.
Earlier in 2025 an undercover detective became aware that Harrison would be attending an event in Sebring, Florida, where she planned to sell “handbags.” A PCSO detective attended the event and observed numerous items bearing designer labels, including Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Cartier, and Gucci inside the “Mrs. K’s Boujee & Inspired Boutique” trailer. While conversing with Harrison at the event, she said she shut down a previously operated website and was exercising greater caution about selling counterfeit goods after someone she met warned her that the sales may be illegal. Harrison also acknowledged knowing about a female in Louisiana who was arrested for selling similar merchandise.
During the investigation, PCSO detectives purchased a number of items from Harrison, totaling approximately $1,331.89 in counterfeit merchandise. Brands included designer handbags, active wear, and footwear. Brands purchased include Louis Vuitton, Tiffany’s, Cartier, Gucci, Hermes, Lululemon, and On Cloud. Retailers confirmed the items were counterfeit. Items were ordered via Facebook and picked up from a box in front of Harrison’s residence and purchased directly from Harrison at events throughout central Florida from Harrison’s “Boujee Boutique” trailer. The estimated retail value of the authentic versions of the purchased items was approximately $33,687.00.
Detectives learned that accounts associated with “Mrs. K’s Boujee & Inspired Boutique” had 142 separate transactions labeled with keywords such as “bag,” “purse,” and “shoes,” all shipped from China. Financial analysis indicated Harrison received approximately $42,000 between January and June 2025 via CashApp, Venmo, and PayPal.
During multiple contacts with detectives, Harrison admitted the items in the “Boujee Boutique” trailer were counterfeit and described various counterfeit merchandise tiers. Counterfeit brands she sold and offered for sale were Louis Vuitton, Tiffany’s, Cartier, Van Cleef, Gucci, Hermes, Tory Burch, Lululemon, Apple, Christian Louboutin, Nike, Marc Jacobs, Costa, and On Cloud. Harrison sold counterfeit items out of her trailer in several central Florida counties.
On July 29, 2025, PCSO detectives executed a search warrant at Harrison’s home and recovered brand-labeled counterfeit goods (purses, shoes, jewelry, clothing), printed materials related to ordering counterfeit goods from China, and the black enclosed trailer containing additional counterfeit merchandise. Detectives seized all the counterfeit merchandise, the “Boujee Boutique” trailer, and $3,847 in U.S. currency.
Harrison is employed as a nurse at McKeel Academy Central School. School administration was notified of her arrest.
Harrison was booked into the Polk County Jail on July 29, 2025 and released on $25,000 bond. The case being prosecuted by Attorney General’s Office of Statewide Prosecution because the counterfeit sales occurred in multiple counties.
