Join Maple Family Centers as we cut the ribbon on our newly renovated Maple Lanes Lakeland bowling center and kick off our 65th anniversary year, with a goal to raise more than $1 million for veterans’ causes.
Professional bowlers, a Polk County Commissioner, friends and customers will join us for food, fun and bowling as we launch a year-long anniversary celebration and unveil our brand-new arcade, commercial kitchen, bathrooms and pro shop, among other renovations.
We will also announce our “One Small Company, One Million Dollars” campaign to pass the $1 million mark for money raised by Maple Family Centers for Bowlers to Veterans Link (BVL), over the coming year. BVL is a national bowling charity that supports recreation therapy programs for veterans and active-duty service members in our local communities. To date, we have raised more than $900,000 for BVL and are on a mission to surpass $1 million in our milestone year.

Providing fun for friends and families since 1960, Maple Family Centers consists of five family-owned bowling centers, including Maple Lanes Lakeland in Lakeland, Fla.; Maple Lanes Countryside in Clearwater, Fla; Coram Country Lanes in Coram, N.Y.; Maple Lanes RVC in Rockville Centre, N.Y.; and Jib Lanes in Flushing, N.Y. Too bad they changed the name. Orange Bowl was much better and so appropriate for Florida. There’s nothing special about the name Maple Lanes. There’s already another in Florida, one in New York and one in Detroit where I used to bowl. I’ll bet there are dozens around the country. So a loud boo on the name change.
