Beginning October 13, 2025, Lakeland Linder International Airport (LAL) will introduce upgraded parking options designed to make traveling easier and more convenient, while keeping rates affordable for passengers and visitors. Premium general parking will be available for just $9 daily (plus taxes and fees). The grass overflow lot will remain free for those who prefer a no-cost option. Travelers and visitors will also enjoy the first four hours of parking free of charge, ensuring flexibility for short visits, pick-ups, and drop-offs.
To deliver these improvements, LAL has partnered with The Car Park, bringing several enhancements to airport parking and wayfinding:
- New entrance and exit kiosks for smoother access.
- Improved pedestrian crosswalks for added safety.
- A newly paved entrance to the grass overflow lot.
- Reserved spaces for Sora Eatery guests and airport administration visitors.
“As our airport continues to grow, it’s necessary to make changes that will allow us to reinvest in the future,” said Kris Hallstrand, Director of Lakeland Linder International Airport. “This new parking system is an important step in helping us fund upgrades and infrastructure improvements that directly benefit our travelers,” Hallstrand added.
