The rebuilt Lake Miriam Publix store in Lakeland is scheduled to open at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13.
The 55,701 square-foot Publix store at 4730 Florida Ave. will have many of the popular features of the chain’s former Greenwise stores, including a Pours section for serving beer, wine, specialty teas, smoothies and acai bowls.
Other sections include a hot bar, a cold bar, salad bar and stations for pizza and burrito bowls.
At Lake Miriam, there is a Pours door that leads to a fenced-in outdoor patio with tables and chairs for enjoying a favorite beverage. A pharmacy and liquor store are separate from the main store, holding the two storefronts next door.
Architecturally, the newly reconstructed store will include a mezzanine seating area overlooking the store for eating and drinking purchased items.
