Florida black bear hunt results: How many bears were killed?

Florida black bear hunting may not be all that popular.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission issued 172 black bear permits for the December hunt, which ended on the 28th.

But only 52 black bears were reported taken by the state in a recent FWC email.
